Council to proceed with duplication of Ocean Drive

In November 2013 the first community forum was held to discuss planned road works on Ocean Drive (Greenmeadows Drive to Matthew Flinders/Emerald Drive)

After receiving a $10million grant from the State Government, Council is planning to continue the duplication of Ocean Drive between Greenmeadows Drive and Matthew Flinders/Emerald Drive.

In addition to a community forum, Council engaged the Birpai Aboriginal Land Council, the Koala Preservation Society, the Lighthouse Plaza Shopping Centre and local residents and property owners along the route.
