Draft Economic Development Strategy 2017 - 2021

The purpose of the 2017-2021 Draft Economic Development Strategy is to focus Council efforts on creating the right environment for jobs growth and economic prosperity in years to come.

The Strategy proposes a partnered approach between Council and key stakeholders to help deliver better economic outcomes for the Port Macquarie-Hastings region.

Key Themes of the Strategy

The Strategy focuses on five key outcomes:

• Embracing business and a strong economy.
• Providing the foundations.
• Creating vibrant and desirable places.
• Driving opportunity.
• Partnering for success.
