The purpose of the 2017-2021 Draft Economic Development Strategy is to focus Council efforts on creating the right environment for jobs growth and economic prosperity in years to come.
The Strategy proposes a partnered approach between Council and key stakeholders to help deliver better economic outcomes for the Port Macquarie-Hastings region.
Key Themes of the Strategy
The Strategy focuses on five key outcomes:
Embracing business and a strong economy.
Providing the foundations.
Creating vibrant and desirable places.
Driving opportunity.
Partnering for success.
