Sancrox Employment Planning Agreement

Consultation has concluded

Council has received an offer to enter into a Deed of Variation in relation to the Sancrox Employment land Environment Lands and Services Planning Agreement.

The Deed of Variation amends and updates the Planning Agreement to reflect the current status of the Development, to allow for the Developer to:

  • establish, manage and dedicate the Offsite Offset Environmental Land in two stages,
  • to restrict the ability to Expressway Spares to develop part of the land during the period when one stage of the Offsite Offset Environmental Land is managed,
  • and to allow Council to compulsorily acquire one stage of the Offsite Offset Environmental Land.

The Sancrox Agreement also provides for payment of a monetary contribution to Council towards the water and sewer services to the industrial subdivision land. It is proposed to make an alteration to the requirements for water supply works to allow Council to agree to alternative arrangements for the timing of water supply works to serve the development.

Have a look at the Sancrox Employment Lands First Deed of Variation and Deed with marked changes, then have your say using the submission tab below.

Hard copies are available for viewing at Council’s Customer Service Centres in Port Macquarie, Wauchope or Laurieton between 8.30am and 4.30pm on normal business weekdays until Wednesday 14 December 2016.
