PMHC Draft Cultural Plan 2016 - 2019

Consultation on this plan has now concluded. Submissions are now being reviewed and prepared for a report to Council.

This draft Cultural Plan for the Port Macquarie-Hastings region looks at the strategies for cultural development over the 2016 - 2019 period.

As a Council, we are committed to ensuring arts, heritage and culture play a strong role in the development of the Port Macquarie-Hastings regions' future.

Our delivery of cultural services across the region is very much supported by the ever growing community organisations, events and activities that ensures our community is diverse, resilient and connected.

This draft Cultural Plan sets underpinning strategies and frameworks, which will help to determine budget allocations and ensure the maintenance and development of the area’s cultural and heritage resources. It also aims to be a “living” document that evolves with changing times and trends.
