draft Volunteer Policy and Procedures

Consultation has concluded

Volunteers provide a valuable contribution to the community and work in partnership with Council directly through projects and indirectly through partnerships with community organisations.

At Council we recognise that volunteers and community organisations are integral to a strong community and make a valuable contribution to community life both socially and economically.

To improve how Council supports the many projects that volunteers and community organisations can become involved in, we have developed a draft Policy and Procedure to make a a clearer, quick and more simple pathway.

We would like to hear your views about these draft documents, including any suggested changes or additions.
