Work on the Port Macquarie Regional Indoor Stadium officially started in December 2015 at an event attended by Mayor Peter Besselling, Councillors, Federal Member for Lyne Dr David Gillespie MP and members of the community

The $7.2 million expansion of the Indoor Stadium will provide a modern, state of the art regional facility for participants and spectators including 6 courts, new multi-purpose and activity rooms, offices, amenities and a kiosk.

The upgrade of this community facility has been possible by $funding from Port Macquarie-Hastings Council and $2.5 million Federal Grant funding.
