Consultation has concluded

The vibrancy and growth of Laurieton CBD has faced many challenges over the past several years. Satellite commercial areas, online buying, drought, bush fires and more recently COVID-19 have all had dramatic and ongoing impacts on the Laurieton Town Centre.

Council in Partnership with Camden Haven Chamber of Commerce (LTCMP Steering Group) and the general community will undertake an Enquiry by Design (EbD) and develop a Master Plan to revitalise the Laurieton Town Centre. The Laurieton Town centre will look at an expanded precinct that includes the existing CBD and provide connections through to the river and surrounding areas to create an activated and vibrant community heart that attracts business and visitors alike.

What is Enquiry By Design?

Enquiry By Design Workshops are multi-day planning and urban design forums that explore and test designs, development ideas and options based on an understanding of local issues, opportunities, constraints and future trends. The fundamental purpose of these workshops will be to inform the preparation of a Concept Master Plan for the Laurieton Town centre.

Register to get involved

You are invited to register your Expression of Interest in joining the EbD panel by completing the form below. The workshops will be carried out across 3 consecutive days on 8, 9 and 10 December from 4:30pm to 8:30pm at Laurieton United Services Club and we are asking registrants to commit to attending all sessions.

Spots for the workshops are limited and registrations close 6 December 2020 with successful applicants being notified by 7 December 2020.
