The Port Macquarie Coastal Walk is a 9.1km walking track that takes you from Westport Park along the beautiful Hastings River, continuing along the coastline to the Tacking Point Lighthouse.

We are interested in your input! Council are preparing a master plan to guide improvements to the Walk over the next few years and to assist with funding applications - head to the survey below and tell us:

  • How do you use the Walk?
  • What are your favourite sections?
  • What could be improved?

    We had a great range of comments that are now being collated for inclusion in the master plan. You can see your submission, our response and the master plan on the agenda for the August Ordinary Council meeting to be held on 16 August 2017. The agenda will be available for viewing on our web site or in Customer Service Centres from the Friday the 11th August. We look forward to receiving your feedback on the draft master plan.
