Lake Cathie Foreshore Reserve Playground

Port Macquarie-Hastings Council maintains 66 playgrounds across the municipality. In 2017/18 we are upgrading the playground at Lake Cathie Foreshore Reserve.

New features for the playground will include:

• New 6m high Eagles Nest climbing structure
• Inclusive carousel
• Seating
• Shade tree planting
• Nature play including a slide on a mound with climbing log, steppers, rocks and balance beam
• Access path
• Upgraded swings with baby seat, strap seats and special needs seat
• Fence with child proof latch

Key objectives for the upgrade include:

• More shade and seating
• Diversity of equipment
• Addition of natural play elements eg logs, and rocks
