Council has prepared a draft amendment to Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2011, relating to 13 issues identified in an administrative review. The issues relate to the following:
Clause 4.1A Exceptions to minimum lot sizes for certain residential development – minor change to the wording of the clause
Clause 7.6 Coastline hazards - addition of an advisory note regarding Codes SEPP
Schedule 1 Additional Permitted Uses - add Emergency services facility at Town Beach
Schedule 3 Complying Development - removal of items covered by the Codes SEPP
Dictionary - add definition of Australian Height Datum
1 Cedar Close, Wauchope - rezone to R1 General Residential, and associated changes to other map series
Kendall B1 Neighbourhood Centre zone - adjustment to zone boundary
Highway Service Centre, Thrumster - remove minimum lot size
Lindfield Park Road, Port Macquarie - IN2 Light Industrial: apply a height limit and apply a Zone E3 buffer to Oxley Hwy
Majestic Drive, Port Macquarie - align LEP map boundaries with lot boundaries
Windmill Hill reserve, Port Macquarie - rezone to RE1 Public Recreation & E2 Environmental Conservation
Crestwood Drive, Port Macquarie - align LEP map boundaries with development lot boundaries
St Lucia Place, Bonny Hills - replace RU1 Primary Production and associated changes to other map series adjoining Ocean Drive.
Details of the draft LEP are in Administrative Review Planning Proposal (Amendment No 29), which is on public exhibition from Wednesday 29 November 2017 until Wednesday 20 December 2017 at Council’s Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Laurieton Offices during normal office hours.
Anyone can inspect the planning proposal and supporting material and make written submissions on it using the submission form below until the end of the exhibition. Please note that any submission may be made public.
