Rezoning of land at Beach Street Bonny Hills
Thank you for your interest in this project. This consultation has now concluded.
It is proposed to amend Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Environmental Plan 2011 to rezone land at Beach Street, Bonny Hills, being Lot 2 DP 1091253, from RU1 Primary Production to part E2 Environmental Conservation and part R1 General Residential, and amend the associated minimum lot size and floor space ratio controls.
Land that is considered to be important koala habitat and part of a larger wildlife corridor is proposed to be zoned E2 Environmental Conservation. The remainder of the land is considered capable of residential development and is proposed to be zoned residential.
Council is inviting all interested persons to view the Planning Proposal and provide written comments. All comments received will be reported to a meeting of Council for consideration prior to finalising the proposal to rezone the land.
Council has been delegated authority by the Minister for Planning and Environment to make a final decision in relation to the proposal.
