Thank you for your interest in this project. This consultation has now concluded.
Port Macquarie Hastings Council provides 11 unleashed and 6 leashed dog areas across the municipality. In 2017/18 we are integrating an unleashed dog area into The Boom Reserve!
We have recently constructed a similar area at Henry Kendall Reserve in Laurieton and are working on designs for one at the new sports grounds on Stoney Creek Road in Wauchope.
Key objectives for this upgrade include:
Addition of an enclosed fenced area
Additional shade and seating
Diversity of dog agility equipment
Hygienic dual water fountain for humans and dogs
Port Macquarie Hastings Council is asking the community to provide feedback on the proposed location and kinds of elements you would like to see in the park before Friday 9 February 2018.
