The Boom Reserve off-leash dog park

The Boom

Port Macquarie Hastings Council provides 11 unleashed and 6 leashed dog areas across the municipality. In 2017/18 we are integrating an unleashed dog area into The Boom Reserve!

We have recently constructed a similar area at Henry Kendall Reserve in Laurieton and are working on designs for one at the new sports grounds on Stoney Creek Road in Wauchope.

Key objectives for this upgrade include:

  • Addition of an enclosed fenced area
  • Additional shade and seating
  • Diversity of dog agility equipment
  • Hygienic dual water fountain for humans and dogs

Port Macquarie Hastings Council is asking the community to provide feedback on the proposed location and kinds of elements you would like to see in the park before Friday 9 February 2018.
