Consultation has concluded

A balanced budget that includes an additional $1.4 million investment in roads and footpaths has formed the backbone of the draft One Year Operational Plan 2014 - 2015. The Plan outlines all the activities, programs and capital works Council will undertake during the next financial year.

The budget to carry out all the planned activities is around $190 million and includes $80 million in capital works projects.

The draft Operational Plan along with the 2014 - 2015 Fees and Charges and Revenue Policy is on public exhibition between Friday March 21 and Friday 2 May, 2014.


The community are encouraged to review Council’s plans and budget and have a say on what Council will deliver on your behalf next financial year.

All submissions will be collated and assessed in order to prepare a final report to Council in June.

The report for the Ordinary Council Meeting on 18 June, that outlines the results of the community engagement, the alterations to the planning documents and proposing the final documents for adoption can now be viewed on Council's website.

    It is important to note that submissions and petitions are public information and may be made public in their entirety subject to the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009. 

    Requests to suppress specific information are necessary otherwise comments as they are received, may form part of Council reports or be provided in full to anyone requesting a copy.

    Note: Any person may inspect the draft planning agreement and make a written submission until the end of the notification period. Please include your full name, postal or email address and contact details so that your submission can be formally acknowledged. Note that any submission may be made public, and public disclosure is required for any political donations or gifts (including to staff).  Submissions are subject to the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009.
