This consultation has concluded.

A report on the proposed LEP changes, Development Application and Voluntary Planning Agreement will be prepared for consideration by Council.  Tentatively this will be at the Council meeting taking place on16 August 2017.

Council is in receipt of applications relating to Lot 7 DP 1142473, & No 40 Reading Street, Port Macquarie, relating to:

  • amendment to the planning controls in Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2011,
  • a subdivision which includes the creation of 3 additional residential lots and dedication of environmental land to Council.

Council has also received an offer to enter into a Voluntary Planning Agreement for dedication of the environmental land in connection with the above applications. Notice is given pursuant to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 of the Reading Street Environmental Land Agreement.

Public Exhibition

The Planning Proposal and Planning Agreement are on public exhibition from Wednesday 14 June until Wednesday 12 July 2017.

During the exhibition, these documents and supporting information, including a Statement of Council's Interest in the proposal, are available in the Document Library (on the right) and at Council's offices.

Anyone can inspect the planning proposal and make written submissions on it until the end of the exhibition. Please note that any submission may be made public. Anyone who makes a submission (or has a financial interest in the submission) has to disclose any political donations or gifts they have made. More information on this is available on Council’s website or at Council’s offices.

Written submissions in relation to the proposal are invited up until 5pm on Wednesday 12 July 2017.

All submissions received will be reported to a meeting of Council before a final decision is made.
