PROJECT UPDATE:
January 2019 - The upgrade of the Herons Creek playground is now complete.
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council maintains 66 playgrounds across the municipality. In 2018/19 we are upgrading Herons Creek Reserve in Herons Creek.
Suggested new features for the playground include a new play element with slide, swing set, spring rocker, monkey bars and seating platform.
Key objectives for the upgrade include:
More shade and seating
Upgrade of equipment to provide a variety of play experiences
Addition of natural play elements eg logs and ropes
Upgraded softfall and edging
A draft Concept Plan for the upgrade has been developed and is available for viewing in the Document Library (located to the right of this screen).
Port Macquarie-Hastings Council is asking the community to provide feedback on the draft conecpt for the playground and any elements you would like to see in the playground before Friday 21 September 2018.
