Local Environmental Plan 2011 - Miscellaneous Amendments

Consultation has concluded

A Local Environmental Plan (LEP) is a legal document that guides development and the use of land within a local government area (LGA). All land, both public and private is subject to the controls set out in the LEP. The development of LEPs is a requirement of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 (EP&A) which is administered by the NSW Department of Planning and Environment.

A number of amendments are proposed to the existing Port Macquarie-Hastings LEP 2011. These are considered minor amendments to rectify anomalies, to update details, and to streamline the consideration of future development by removing unnecessary restrictions.
