It is proposed to amend Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Environmental Plan 2011:
Subdivision relating to a road closure under Part 4 of the Roads Act 1993 Make this exempt development within the Council area, as the road closure is subject to public consultation requirements under Part 4 of the Roads Act 1993. This will reduce administration work and time for those times when the proposed road closure requires development consent for subdivision.
Windmill Hill, Port Macquarie There are inconsistencies in the LEP Land Zoning Map, Floor Space Ratio Map and Height of Buildings Map between properties and the adjoining roads for parts of Burrawan Street, Pacific Drive, Windmill Street, Home Street, Hill Street and Arncliffe Street, Port Macquarie. It is proposed to extend the appropriate provisions over the roads. Note that the relevant roadways include an unused part of Pacific Drive for which closure is proposed.
Council is inviting all interested persons to view the Planning Proposal and provide written comments. All comments received will be considered prior to finalising the proposal to amend the LEP maps.
Council has been delegated authority by the Minister for Planning and Environment to make a final decision in relation to the proposal.
Public Exhibition
The Planning Proposal is on public exhibition from 17 January to 14 February 2018.
During the exhibition, the Planning Proposal is available in the Document Library (on the right or below if on a mobile device) and at Council's Port Macquarie office.
Have Your Say
