Planning Proposal: Proposed rezoning of certain land at Homedale Road, Kew

Council has prepared a Planning Proposal to amend Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Environmental Plan 2011 to rezone part Lot 202 DP 1133171, Kendall Road, Kew from RU1 Primary Production to part R1 General Residential, part E2 Environmental Conservation and Part E3 Environmental Management and amend associated amendments to the Height of Buildings, Floor Space Ratio and Minimum Lot Size maps.

The intended outcomes of this proposal are to enable residential development, conserve areas of environmental significance and to maintain a separation buffer to adjoining Regionally Significant Farmland.

The proposal will be on public exhibition from 24 October until 21 November 2018. During this time, Council is inviting all interested persons to view the Planning Proposal and provide written comments. All comments received will be reported to a meeting of Council for consideration prior to finalising the proposal. Please note that any submission may be made public. Anyone who makes a submission (or has a financial interest in the submission) is required by law to disclose any political donations and gifts (if any) made.

Council has been authorised as Local Plan-making Authority to make a final decision in relation to the Planning Proposal.
