This consultation has concluded
Council has prepared a Planning Proposal to amend Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Environmental Plan 2011 to rezone certain land in Town Square, Horton Street Port Macquarie from RE1 Public Recreation to B3 Commercial Core.
The new Town Square is located within the Horton Street road reserve. It is proposed to rezone the land consistent with the adjoining business zone to allow outdoor dining areas associated with adjoining pub development within the B3 Commercial Core zone.
The proposal will be on public exhibition from 14 to 28 February 2018 and will be available for view at Council’s offices and online – see details below.
During this time, Council is inviting all interested persons to view the Planning Proposal and provide written comments. All comments received will be reported to a meeting of Council for consideration prior to finalising the proposal to rezone the land.
Council has been delegated authority by the Minister for Planning to make a final decision in relation to the Planning Proposal.
