The Riverbreeze Estate Voluntary Planning Agreement is now on exhibition for the public to view and have their say.

Background
Council has received an offer to enter into a voluntary planning agreement in connection with Development Application 2000-0670 for an approved residential subdivision at Riverbreeze Drive, Wauchope.

The draft agreement talks about how the developer, for the final stage of approximately 24 lots, proposes to pay a monetary contribution to Council towards the construction and an upgrade of the intersection of Riverbreeze Drive and Beechwood Road, Wauchope.

    An agreement entered into by a planning authority (such as Council) and a developer. Under the agreement a developer agrees to provide or fund:

    • public amenities and public services
    • affordable housing
    • transport or other infrastructure
    Contributions can be made through:

    • dedication of land
    • monetary contributions
    • construction of infrastructure
    • provision of materials for public benefit and/or land use
