Port Macquarie-Hastings Council maintains 66 playgrounds across the municipality. In 2017/18 we are upgrading Sancrox Reserve Playground, Colvin St, Sancrox.
Key objectives for the upgrade include more shade, seating and diversity of play equipment.
New features will include:
Relocation of the playground so that it is closer to the large picnic shelter
Addition of basketball and netball rings to allow for multipurpose use of the Tennis Court
Giant combination play unit with monkey bars, slide, stepper bridge, track ride and climbing course
Upgraded swings
Talking tubes
Sculptural timber grasshoppers
Shade tree planting
Seating, signage and footpath connections
