Sancrox Reserve Playground concept

Port Macquarie-Hastings Council maintains 66 playgrounds across the municipality. In 2017/18 we are upgrading Sancrox Reserve Playground, Colvin St, Sancrox.

Key objectives for the upgrade include more shade, seating and diversity of play equipment.

New features will include:

  • Relocation of the playground so that it is closer to the large picnic shelter
  • Addition of basketball and netball rings to allow for multipurpose use of the Tennis Court
  • Giant combination play unit with monkey bars, slide, stepper bridge, track ride and climbing course
  • Upgraded swings
  • Talking tubes
  • Sculptural timber grasshoppers
  • Shade tree planting
  • Seating, signage and footpath connections
