Wall Reserve Playground

Port Macquarie-Hastings Council maintains 66 playgrounds across the municipality. In 2018/19 we are upgrading Wall Reserve Playground in Laurieton.

Key objectives for the upgrade include:

  • Improve the playgrounds' sense of entry

  • Increase seating

  • Connect existing bike path to create a loop

  • Upgrade of equipment to provide a variety of play experiences

  • Addition of log, rocks, ropes and planting to increase the amount of natural play elements

  • Upgraded softfall and edging

We would love to get your feedback on our initial concept ideas for this playground. These ideas for the playground include:

  • Timber seating platforms

  • Scramble rock boulders

  • Free play log climbing

  • Stainless steel pipe mound slide

  • Rubber/tyre mounds with slides

  • Wobble mirror

  • Quin swing (5 seats)

  • Rope cargo net for climbing

Photo examples of the above playground items are available for viewing in the Document Library (located to the right of this screen).

Visit the Project Team on site at Wall Reserve Playground from 3pm to 4.30pm Wednesday 19 September to have your say or make an online submission below.

Port Macquarie-Hastings Council is asking the community to provide feedback on the draft concept for the playground and any elements you would like to see in the playground before 5 October 2018.
