Bike Plan 2014

Consultation has concluded

Last year Council and the community worked together to develop a Bike Plan.

The vision for this plan is ' A connected network that makes it possible to travel around the region by bike'.

Based on what you had to say, a report was presented to Council in December 2014.

You can now have a further say about the draft Final Bike Plan.

    A connected network that makes it possible to travel around the region by bike. That is the vision for the draft Bike Plan 2014.

    The Bike Plan 2014 will assist Council in a coordinated approach to delivering infrastructure that brings this vision to a reality.

    The plan provides revised actions with the aim of developing a bicycle network linking the main urban areas of the region.

    Last year council developed a draft Bike Plan 2014 and following a range of community engagement and involvement a final plan has now been developed.

    From 7 April to 19 May this year Port Macquarie-Hastings Council Community ran a series of community engagement activities to develop the draft Port Macquarie-Hastings Bike Plan 2014.

    People had their say in a number of ways including writing submissions or presenting a submission at a planned meeting.
