Feedback on the Blair Reserve Bike Track is now closed. Stay tuned for updates.
The Blair Reserve bike track needs an upgrade and your views will help make sure the upgraded bike track is great.
To get started Council has already spoken to a number of groups such as the Hastings Valley BMX Club, Hastings Valley Mountain Bike Rider Club, members of the local biking community and one of our professional BMX riders.
One of the ideas talked about was the need for children to be able to learn to bike ride in a safe environment and also learn skills for BMX and mountain bike recreational riding.
An early design has been created based on this feedback and the positive feedback from other bike opportunities developed at Bellangry Park on Lake Road and improvements at Wayne Richards Park.
Based on what we have heard already, an idea of how the bike track could look has been developed.
Have a look at the plan Blair Street Bike Track Upgrade.
All feedback will be reviewed and passed on to a specialist company who will be contracted to finalise the design and construct the final bike track.
