Councillor expenses and facilities Policy- 2016

Consultation has concluded

Each year Councils decide what expenses and facilities will be provided to Councillors to assist in some of the expenses they have in their role as elected officials. This is done in line with the annual Taxation Determination made by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

Expenses and facilities include travel, telephone and internet, training and conferences, accommodation and meals when required to travel out of area.

    Writing a submission is one way of sharing your views and opinions with Council. All submissions are considered before making a decision and your submission will be included in a report to Council.

    Any person may make a written submission to Council up until the end of the exhibition period. Submissions close 13 October 2016
