Crestwood Park Recreation Precinct
Consultation has concluded
Planning Proposal PP2017 - 4.1
Crestwood Park Recreation Precinct, Crestwood Drive, Port Macquarie.
Council has prepared a Planning Proposal to rezone Lot 516 DP1261705, part Lot 497 DP1237901, and Lot 319 DP1214443, Crestwood Drive, Port Macquarie from RU1 Primary Production and R1 General Residential to SP2 Infrastructure (Stormwater and Drainage), RE1 Public recreation, and RE2 Private recreation, with associated updates to planning controls for Height of Building, Floor Space Ratio and Minimum Lot Size. The proposal applies to Crestwood Park and surrounding Council and privately owned land.
The intended outcomes of the Planning Proposal are to promote the development of private land for active and passive tourism and recreation uses; maintain existing environmental controls and resolve historic zone anomalies over Council owned and managed land (Crestwood Park), consistent with the function of the land for playground and stormwater infrastructure.
