Draft Flood Policy

Consultation has concluded

A new draft Flood Policy/DCP Flood Development Provisions has been developed, what do you think?

The new document aims to be more user friendly and provide a clearer understanding of flood related development requirements, which will provide a higher level of consistency for Development Applications (DA's)

The key differences to the current interim flood policy are changes to general formatting, additional detail and definitions for aspects of development assessment and flood related planning controls.

The final format of the Draft Flood Policy/DCP Flood Provisions is yet to be confirmed. Consideration needs to occur to how this policy will integrate into Council’s existing Development Control Plan (DCP 2013).

To have your say:
  • Read the document
  • Make a submission (submissions close 25 June 2015)
