Draft Payment of Expenses and Provision of Facilities Policy
Consultation has concluded
A Council, under the Local Government Act 1993 must adopt a policy concerning the payment of expenses incurred or to be incurred by, and the provision of facilities to, the mayor, the deputy mayor (if there is one) and the other councillors in relation to discharging the functions of civic office.
This policy must be publicly exhibited for a period of not less than 28 days with a further report coming to Council to consider any submissions received during the public exhibition period.
Submissions from the public shall be received until 5pm on Tuesday 18 October 2022.
