Community engagement on this project has now concluded

The Town Green in Port Macquarie is a important community space in the town centre which attracts a large number of formal and informal community activities. The space is well used and well loved and provides a key meeting place for social and passive recreational activities.

Planning to update and enhance this area has been underway for a number of years and a proposed master plan for the space has been developed in line with the Town Centre Master Plan. Community engagement for the Town Centre Master Plan occurred in December 2013 through to 3 February 2014. Council is now placing on exhibition a draft design for the Town Green area.
