Port Macquarie-Hastings Council has an important role in planning for the future transport needs of the local area and how this will occur will become the Integrated Transport Strategy.

The document will connect with the NSW Long Term Transport Master Plan finalised in December 2012 and will strengthen the opportunities for our local government area.

The development of the Transport Strategy will be supported by a series of Working Papers:

  1. Background - currently available
  2. Existing Conditions and Key Issues - currently available
  3. Community and Agency Issues - to be developed after community discussion
  4. Preliminary Transport Strategies - to be developed after community discussion
  5. Social Impact Statement - to be conducted in 2014

The working papers will be collated into a final Strategy for adoption by Council.
