Draft Investment Policy 2020

Port Macquarie-Hastings Council is currently in the process of reviewing its Investment Policy.

In developing the revised Policy, a paragraph was included in relation to Council’s investment in Environmentally and Socially Responsible Investments, (ESRIs). This version, which is included as Version 2, was placed on exhibition from 25 March 2020 to 21 April 2020.

As a result of the public exhibition, it was resolved by Council to publicly exhibit a version of the Investment Policy which specifically address investment in financial institutions which support fossil fuel industries, and we are seeking the community’s feedback on this.

The version of the Investment Policy specifically addressing investment in financial institutions which support fossil fuel industries is included as Version 1.

The above documents are on exhibition from Wednesday, 10 June 2020 to Tuesday, 7 July 2020. These documents can be downloaded from the Document Library on this page.
