Consultation has concluded

Thank you to everyone who let us know their wish list for the Kendall Skate Space. Our designer has used this information to develop a draft concept design and we’d like to know what you think.

The skate space is one component of the Kendall Village Green, which is located on the site of the former tennis courts on Graham Street, Kendall. A key inclusion is the staged approach that enables the future expansion of the skate space when funding becomes available.

Stage 1 of the design includes over 500sqm of skate space with a range of elements to test and refine your skills. The design includes:

  • Snake run
  • 500mm High mogul with rainbow rail
  • 900mm Deep square bowl
  • 1200mm High quarter pipe with hips and bowl section
  • Pyramid section

A Grassed area, children’s play space and shelters are also included.

The funding pegged for the upgrade of Norrie Park will be used to upgrade the play space at the Kendall Village Green site.

Stage 2 includes an additional 215sqm skate area and a half basketball court.

Funded by the NSW Government and Port Macquarie-Hastings Council.
