Lake Cathie Community Hall Playground Upgrade

Have a look at the concept for the upgrade of the Lake Cathie community hall playground and share your thoughts and ideas.

The equipment at the playground needs to be replaced as it no longer meets the standard for our local play spaces. A concept has been developed based on suggestions at a Lake Cathie Progress Association meeting on 4 August 2016.

At this meeting ideas were discussed and we heard a number of important facts and priorities about this playground including:

  • The existing playground fence is important and should be kept.
  • The play area is currently well used by local mothers groups and should target the 0 - 7 year child age group
  • Links between the existing swings to the playground area would be advantageous
  • A small bike path would be desirable
  • Nature play elements would give a variety affordable play options

A concept has been drawn up based on this information and we would like to hear your views. Have a look at the plan, Lake Cathie Community Hall Playground and share your views in the submission tab below.
