Consultation on this plan has now concluded. Submissions are now being reviewed and prepared for a report to Council.

Council has prepared a Planning Proposal to amend the Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Environmental Plan 2011 (LEP 2011) to modify land zoning, minimum lot size, floor space ratio and height of buildings provisions in relation to land comprising Lots 1-52 DP 776681 within the locality of Sancrox.

The intended effect of the Planning Proposal is to facilitate a change in land use from rural to urban and environmental uses, including medium density and general residential, public open space, business, environmental conservation, environmental management and environmental living. This change is intended to facilitate the development of a variety of residential and supporting uses and to conserve areas of high environmental value within the site.

The Le Clos Sancrox Planning Proposal is on public exhibition between 24 November 2021 and 12 January 2022. During this period, the community is invited to review the exhibition material and provide a submission. All submissions received will be reported to a meeting of Council for consideration prior to finalising the proposal.

The exhibition material is available to view in the document library (to the left or below if on a mobile device), and in hard copy at Council’s Customer Service Centres and Libraries at Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Laurieton.
