In line with this commitment, Council is currently undertaking a stormwater drainage investigation focusing on the Lincoln Road stormwater catchment. The aim of this investigation is to identify any stormwater drainage issues within the catchment and develop a detailed design and construction staging plan to remediate these issues.
Typical stormwater issues that will be targeted during this investigation will include:
Unsafe stormwater flows within the roadway
Stormwater from the roadway overflowing into adjacent/downhill buildings
Stormwater upwelling from pits/pipes during minor storm events
See attached catchment Plan showing the area of the study.
