Official opening on 1 July

Just in time for the school holidays, the upgraded Rainbow Beach Playground was officially opened on Wednesday, 1 July.

The new facility, which has benefited from the generosity of various local businesses, has been a collaborative project with Bonny Hills Progress Association, whose enthusiasm for the project should be commended.

The upgrade includes a new mound slide, four swings, concrete path for artwork from the car park, sandpit and balance beams - and complements the recent refurbishment of the giant climbing net.

The Rainbow Beach Playground project was a partnership between the Bonny Hills Progress Association and Port Macquarie-Hastings Council.
