Council manages and provides public facilities, such as libraries, sporting grounds and galleries along with services such as lifeguards, emergency management and community building are just some of the ways Council supports community life.

These facilities encourage active participation in community activities and contribute to a harmonious, safe and connected community .

These services impact the lives of Hastings residents every day and influence the community that we live in.

    On Thursday 29 October, 72 community leaders came together with the Senior Executive team at Council as part of a Civic Leaders Forum.

    This is how they ranked services that support community life.
