Background info

The range of services Council provide to help us get around include;

  • Footpaths - that are accessible for all abilities
  • Cycleways - roadside and off road
  • Unsealed roads and timber bridges
  • Sealed roads - maintenance and repair as well as new roads
  • Ferries
  • Parking - parking spaces and traffic assessment
  • Traffic Management - pedestrian crossings, speed limits, roundabouts
These services impact the lives of Hastings residents every day whether we are moving around for work, leisure or any other reason. In any given day thousands of residents and visitors use a range of transport options.
