“Every activity involves a journey from somewhere else”, this is the the vision of the Town Centre Master Plan

The Town Centre Master Plan aims to make the space a great place for both locals and visitors. A place that is positive for socialising and good for business.

The current Town Centre Master Plan was developed late 2013 and in March 2014 a number of priority projects were agreed upon, from cleaning of footpaths and replanting garden bed to larger construction projects.

You can find out more about this process by visiting: Town Centre Master Plan

In moving forward on this plan, work will be undertaken over a number of years.

Council resolved at the Ordinary Council meeting 18 December 2013 to place the Port Macquarie Town Centre Master Plan 2013 on exhibition from the 19 December 2013 until 3 February 2014.

The aim of this document is to invite community feedback on all facets of the Master Plan, excluding the proposals for the Port Macquarie Town Green. This information will contribute to making decisions regarding the Port Macquarie Town Centre. The Port Macquarie Town Green will be the subject of a separate engagement exercise in 2014.
