War Memorial Relocation

Consultation on this proposal has concluded

The RSL Sub Branch of Port Macquarie have received approval from Council to relocate the war memorial cenotaph currently on Town Green to its original location on the northern side of the Horton and Clarence Street intersection.

The Horton and Clarence Street intersection will soon form part of a Town Square with the cenotaph as the major feature.

The relocation is being funded by Council from its current works plan budget 2015-2016 and is being delivered through a close working partnership with the Port Macquarie RSL Sub-branch.
