As an attendee at the Luminosity Youth Summit, you have already identified yourself as someone who is interested in big ideas, innovation and creating a vision for the future.

Port Macquarie-Hastings Council is a proud sponsor of the Luminosity Youth Summit and is committed to meaningful engagement with our region's young people.

As the future leaders of our region, you play an important part in the progress and achievements of Port Macquarie-Hastings.

Your voice matters! Why? Because you will help drive change by providing feedback on Council's ideas, projects and priorities.

So, if you are aged 15-25, live locally and want to have a voice in how Port Macquarie-Hastings develops, we want to hear from you.

Whatever your idea, big or small, we need your voice on our online Youth Voice Panel.

What do I do as a member of the Youth Voice Panel?

Registered members of the Youth Voice Panel will receive invitations by email to participate in consultations as they take place throughout the year. This may happen a number of times during the year and it could involve any or a variety of Council's projects, strategies, plans or initiatives.

Participation generally involves Council providing you some information on a subject and asking you to respond with your views. This may take the form of online surveys, discussion forums, Q&As and quick polls.

Participation in the Youth Voice Panel is not compulsory. You can choose to participate in as many or as few as you like, and you can opt out and unsubscribe at any time.

From time to time, we may even offer incentives for you to participate in consultations.

By embracing the impressive and inspiring ambitions of young Port Macquarie-Hastings people like you - we will secure the future of our region as the best place to live, work, study and play.

What do you need to do to join the Youth Voice Panel?

Complete our quick survey below, provide us with your name and email address and agree to become part of our Youth Voice Panel. You will then go into the draw for a chance to win one of five $25 gift vouchers.

We will send you an email asking you to register on our Have Your Say online engagement platform so that we can send you emails in the future seeking your feedback on Council projects.
