2020 Coastside Environmental Land - Planning Agreement

Pursuant to the Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation 2000, notice is given of the draft 2020 Coastside Environmental Land - Planning Agreement and subsequent proposal to revoke the Coastside Environmental Land Planning Agreement between Council and Christian Outreach Centre dated 3 April 2013.

Council has received an offer from S.Z.C.J.S.E Pty Ltd and Port Macquarie Gateway Pty Ltd to enter into a planning agreement in connection with Development Application (DA2017 - 677) for the purposes of a place of public worship and Development Application (DA2017 - 1043) for subdivision of land at Lots 1-3 DP 1250668, John Oxley Drive THRUMSTER. The Christian Outreach Centre is also a party to the agreement for the purposes of revoking the previous Coastside Environmental Land Planning Agreement dated 3 April 2013.

The draft planning agreement provides for the following:

  • Payment of monetary contributions to be held and applied by the Council towards the ongoing management of environmental land.
  • Allow access for the provision of sewer infrastructure.
  • Revocation of the Coastside Environmental Land Planning Agreement between Council and Christian Outreach Centre dated 3 April 2013.

The draft planning agreement and the planning agreement to be revoked, may be inspected in the document library to the right (or below of viewing thus page on a mobile device) from 16 September 2020 until close of business on 14 October 2020.

Any person may inspect the draft planning agreement and make a written submission until the end of the notification period. Submissions should be made via the following:

  • Complete the online submission form below, or

  • Post to: The General Manager, Port Macquarie-Hastings Council, PO Box 84, Port Macquarie NSW 2444

Please include your full name, postal or email address and contact details so that your submission can be formally acknowledged. It should be noted that any submission may be made public, and public disclosure is required for any political donations or gifts (including to staff). Submissions are subject to the provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009.
