Port Macquarie Council is seeking your feedback on our draft Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence Policy

The policy outlines Council's role to:

  • Build the capacity of Council staff and community leaders
  • Advocate for systems change and better access to resources
  • Raise community awareness and support prevention
  • Strengthen partnerships with local services and community leaders
  • Promote safe and inclusive public spaces

This draft is informed by the NSW Pathways to Prevention strategy.

We are seeking feedback on the policy from residents, services, community groups and anyone with an interest in making our community safer.
