Consultation has concluded

We recognise the social and economic benefit of building a vibrant creative arts and cultural community. Our existing cultural program and assets are embraced by our community and attract many visitors to the region.

Through shared understanding of the cultural development needs and aspirations of our current and future creative communities, we can shape Council’s next cultural plan.

How do we as a Council foster the growth and enrichment of culture in our community? We’re looking for your input as creatives or audience and participants in arts and culture in our Local Government Area (LGA) including:

  • Cultural activities (e.g. ArtWalk)
  • Creative arts (e.g. exhibitions at Glasshouse or other galleries, networking events and skills workshops)

Have your say

To ensure our creative vision is aligned with community needs we are seeking your input via the survey below. Your comments will help us plan our cultural development activities and actions so that we can continue to deliver and grow programs that excite and engage.

The aim of this survey is to understand;

  • How people in our region access arts and culture
  • What is working well now
  • The desired character, venues and spaces to get creative in the future
  • Gaps in the creative industries

This survey will be open until Sunday 19 May and we would love to hear your thoughts and ideas.
