Consultation has concluded

Council is reviewing how usage fees for local sporting fields are structured. Your feedback is essential to help us develop a fair, transparent, and sustainable approach that supports our sporting community.

What’s happening?

Following community input and guidance from the Port Macquarie-Hastings Sports Council, three draft options for the Sports Field User-Pay Model have been developed:

  • Per Field Model: Fees based on the number of fields used.
  • Per Participant Model: Fees based on the number of players using the fields.
  • No Fee (current approach): Continue without charging usage fees.

You can view the draft options to the right (or below if viewing this page on a mobile device).

Why your feedback matters

Sporting fields are vital to our community’s health, wellbeing, and connection. Balancing fair access with ongoing maintenance and improvements is important. Your input will guide Council in choosing the best approach.
