Westport Park Playground upgrade

Consultation has concluded

Our popular Livvi’s Place Playground in Westport Park, Port Macquarie is due for an upgrade!

We want Livvi’s Place to continue to be a vibrant and engaging play space which caters to all ages and is truly inclusive.

The upgrade is an expansion on the existing playground and will include water play, new play experiences, shade, picnic shelter, connecting paths, and landscaping. An extension (approximately 5 spaces) to the Westport Park car park will also be included.

This design was developed with consideration of previous community feedback on our playgrounds. We’ve heard that a water play/splash pad area is highly desired by our community. We also acknowledge that the existing playground requires attention, so we’ll be repairing any damage under our flood insurance.

We recognise the need for a closer amenities block and are applying for a grant through the NSW Government’s Boating Now Program as part of the Westport Park Boat Ramp Upgrade to fund this component.

The Westport Park Playground project is an investment of $1.1million funded by the NSW Government as a part of the NSW Public Spaces Legacy Program.
